Sarah Reagan is a queer cross-disciplinary artist who makes wooden and concrete sculptures. Her work inserts childlike humor into materials typically deemed brutal and masculine. She is currently teaching and completing her MFA in the Craft/Material Studies Department at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. After graduating with her BFA in Studio Arts from Iowa State University in 2017, Sarah spent three years serving as an education volunteer for the Peace Corps in Togo (2017) and Mexico (2018-2020). Her work has been exhibited nationally, including at the Minneapolis International Airport, Studio Two Three in Richmond, Virginia, the Biorenewables Research Laboratory in Ames, Iowa, and City College Art Gallery in San Diego, California. Her awards and grants include a FOCUS Grant at Iowa State University, a Windgate Graduate Teaching Assistantship at Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Torpedo Factory Post-Graduate Residency in Alexandria, VA.
