Melody works intuitively and iteratively when creating art, and often applies scientific methodology to her artistic practice with the rigour of a seasoned mathematician. Artistic expression and logical thinking have always been the two flashes in her mind. By observing human behaviour, asking generative questions, and analyzing information, she uses her artistic sensibility to present her findings in unique and compelling ways.

Melody combines logical and scientific elements to express her spiritual quest and sense of life incisively and vividly. Intertwining these two fields, using visual images to express her observations and feelings about life and the world, create a series of unique, complex and illusory artworks.

She was the first prize winner of the Orient Foundation Art Award in 2021.
