I work across a variety of media such as textiles, film, sound and writing. My work addresses issues such as ableism, online pornography, software programming, feminism and accelerationism. I am inspired by the artists Aurel Schmidt , Isa Genzken, and Ryan Trecartin. I have recently created C# programmes that look at ageism in the porn industry and how patriarchal structures exist within coding languages. I have also created a fake sorting algorithm called the “BOOBIES Sort Algorithm”. After my father suffered a stroke in 2021, I looked at how stroke victims would be used as entertainment in an extremely capitalist society by competing in a reality TV show where they partake in physiotherapy challenges in my film Different Strokes. My most recent project is a series of erotic and surreal writing entitled Poundland inspired by the writers Cookie Mueller, Kathy Acker, David Foster Wallace, JG Ballard and Kurt Vonnegut. These stories sexualise the imperfect human anatomy and objectify the male writers the work is inspired by.
