Cassia Powell is a contemporary artist based in the unceded lands of Lekwungen-speaking peoples; those of the Songhees, Wyomilth and W̱SÁNEĆ nations, otherwise known as Victoria, BC. They work with many mediums, but primarily focus on large-scale oil paintings on canvas and mixed media sculpture. Powell is a Visual Arts (BFA) Honours graduate from the University of Victoria, and is currently represented by Sweetpea Gallery.
